Lisa Atterby who runs Angels Under Our Wings Cocker Rescue in Canada is a great example of how rescue can be done right. She has a thorough screening process for adopters, does home checks and vet reference checks and tries to match up the dog to the adopter (just like Camp Cocker does!).
