Please take note that we get more than two hundred emails a day (most of these are from people asking us to save a dog from a shelter, on an average day, about fifty cockers are in danger in our shelters and we monitor them all but can't possibly save them all). Many email inquiries are from prospective adopters with questions about our dogs, however without an adoption application in hand, it is nearly impossible for us to try to match you up with a dog. Serious adoption inquiries should be accompanied by an adoption application.

If you are contacting us simply to ask if a dog is still available, please check our adoptable dogs on our website to see whom is currently available. That does not mean that we will hold a dog for you while you submit your application, it only means that as of right now, that dog does not have a definite approved adopter. When an adopter has submitted their application, had their phone interview and we've done their vet reference checks, we are willing to put "adoption pending" on a dog while the adopter is awaiting us to do their home. safety check. An adoption can not be finalized until the home check has been completed and any necessary dog proofing has been done.

Please take a few moments to read through our adoption process before contacting us. We are all volunteers whom work full time jobs as well so we truly appreciate your patience as to why we can't always answer every email inquiry when an application has not been submitted.
