how are your donations used?
Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 12:10AM In an effort to invite more people to get involved with animal rescue, either through donations or volunteering, we would like to share with you what it really costs to rescue. Camp Cocker is unique in that we do actually vet the dogs and spend quite a bit of money to rehabilitate them. We dream of one day having an abundance of foster homes so that no funds are drained by boarding fees and of having an abundance of donations so that we are never struggling to pay off vet debt or trying to scrape together funds for dogs in line waiting for medical care. We try to find the vets in town with the best prices and also have arranged a good price with the boarding facility that we use so that we can make every dollar stretch as far as possible.
