help Minnie to get her wiggle back

This is Minnie from a couple of months ago, we affectionately call her Minnie the Jelly Bean (because she looks like a gourment jelly bean, just delicious!). Last Monday, Minnie suddently lost the use of her rear legs and we rushed her to the general vet ($64.99). From there we went to the emergency room ($357.15) because we were told they had the ability to do an MRI.

After waiting overnight only to discover their MRI place was booked the next day, we finally drove Minnie down to Orange County to another MRI place, that not only fit her in immediately, but there was a surgical center a few buildings down and they were so nice that the surgeon stayed late to do Minnie's surgery immediately following her MRI.

Minnie had her MRI ($1810.00) on Tuesday at 4pm, then while under anesthesia, was put on a gurney and rolled a few buildings down to the Veterinary Surgical Specialists where Dr. Cambridge was waiting to do her back surgery. ($3472.50)

Well much to our shock, two days after surgery, Minnie was already trying to walk with support and the assistance of a sling! Imagine how happy we were four days after surgery when she was allowed to leave the hospital and this is how well she was doing!

We owe an IMMEDIATE BALANCE from Minnie's surgery of $1672.50 and we need to pay it asap. Any donation in any amount will help. We are so grateful to Dr. Cambridge and the staff at Veterinary Surgical Specialists in Tustin for helping rush Minnie into surgery to save her from becoming permanently disabled. Please help us by donating in any amount, no amount is too small. And even more so, can you please help by sharing this fundraising plea forward to everyone you know? You can click on the "share" button below to forward to Facebook as well.

Thank you everyone, thank you for supporting our little rescue group and thank you for helping dogs like Minnie to have a chance! We woof you very much!
