just one moppy mop . . . at a time

One of our donors did an incredible thing yesterday. Camp Cocker has been at double capacity of dogs lately and we haven't been able to take in any new ones. We sent a picture to our donor of a shelter cocker that had only twenty-four hours left before being put to sleep. Much to our happiness, our donors, the Fasheh family, went to the Lancaster Shelter and rescued him! His new name is now Felix (see his after pictures below). Felix had to have two baths when they got him home from the shelter and he was still stinky. Today they took him to get a professional grooming and he smells much better now. Thank you to the Fasheh family for doing what you did! You literally saved a life with your brave action of going into a shelter to get a cocker that we could not save ourselves. Good for you!
In memory of their cocker spaniel, Fritz, the Fasheh family have been making monthly donations towards Sweet Pea. Say hello to the Fasheh family of rescue doggies!

From left to right: Fritz who looked like a sweetheart, Fritz and Mitzy resting in peace, Bubu the maltese mix, on the seat is Goody, LC and Lucky, on the floor and you can see just the top of his head is 12 year old cocker Hans. Bottom row is cutie pie Hans! NEW pics below of Felix after his grooming! Wow! Who would even believe he is the same moppy mop that was in the shelter? Thank you to the Fasheh family!
