Maddy's summer adventure continues
This is Maddy's hang out on the deck of her summer vacation home with Camp Cocker's volunteer Elaine's husband. And the other picture is the view Maddy has (that is her friend Molly, an English Cocker who is taking in the beautiful view as well). Elaine is giving Maddy this chance for a summer adventure while we continue to hope to find Maddy a permament forever home. She would do best in a home with carpeting and also with someone who is around a lot to take her outside on short slow walks and to swim her if possible to keep her legs exercised. Good girl, Maddy, what a good swimmer you are!
From the shelter to becoming a world traveler!
Do you remember Felix? He was the lucky dog that was saved directly out of the Lancaster shelter by the Fasheh family, hours before he was to be put to sleep. Camp Cocker Rescue was full at the time and couldn't take him in. Much to our happiness, one of our donors walked into that shelter and got Felix just in time. They not only saved his life, they changed his life by making him their very own much loved doggie. Look at him now, all fixed up and going on vacation with his friend BuBu. Enjoy your travels Felix, we love you!
