seconds and inches . . . Brandy and Carmel's story

Things had not been going well for Camp Cocker this last six months . . . many dogs we had rescued turned out to have unexpected vet bills (glaucoma, cataracts, knee surgeries, amputations). Then a couple of unwed mothers joined us with their litters (also costing quite a bit of medical bills). We were beginning to wonder if these dogs could ever catch a break? Donations have been down and yet cockers are turning up in our high kill shelters in record numbers. We were so discouraged and then along came this little cocker girl with such severe mange that we simply could not turn our eyes away. We reached out and asked for donations, not only to help her but to help Camp Cocker get some of our vet debt paid down.

Well, donations started to come in, in all sizes, no donation is ever too small! So we went to get this little mange girl and well . . . watch the video to see what happened next. We hope you will be inspired to pass the word that our rescue group is struggling and that we need the support of monthly donors to keep us moving forward. Please consider becoming a MONTHLY DONOR for as little as ten dollars a month so that we can be here for the future shelter cockers that will be needing us! Thank you so much for your generous support!
