Thank you to our Canadian rescue partners!

Camp Cocker only has a few select rescues that we work with in other regions, that will help us by taking in rescued cocker spaniels from us and rehoming them in their own regions. It may only be a few dogs at a time, but one dog at a time, they are making an impact. Every single dog that gets to go to one of our rescue partners, is then making room in Camp Cocker for us to save another shelter dog. We can't thank our rescue partners enough, especially for being so thorough and selective about whom they adopt to and being as detailed as we are about screening adopters. We appreciate you all!

And below is a video clip about our third Canadian rescue partner, Wendy with the Okanagan Small Dog Rescue in Kelowna, B.C. Wendy can only take a couple of dogs from us here and there because she is trying to make a big impact with the local puppy mill rescues. We always know that when Wendy makes room for one of our cockers, that we are really lucky! (and so are the cockers).
And of course, our Vancouver volunteer, Bonnie, whom has been so valuable to all of our rescue groups. She helps to meet the doggies in Vancouver at the airport, or she flies down to Los Angeles to accompany the dogs on their flight (the cost to fly the dogs is much less when someone is on the plane with them). She will drive dogs out to Wendy in Kelowna or get the dogs over to Lisa in Victoria. Bonnie has personally changed the lives of so many dogs. Like all of us in rescue, none of us can do this alone, and each of us are doing our part to make a difference, one dog at a time!
