Luca is a handsome little fella with the cutest freckles on his nose. Luca has a sweet disposition and his tail never stops wagging. He gets along well with other dogs, is crate trained, knows how to use the doggie door and is housetrained (except for carpeting, he would do better in a home with no carpeting to confuse him). Luca loves to play fetch, but he is also a little bit of a couch potato!
Luca appears to be around eight to ten years young, but he is spry and ready to play and give kisses. He'll also take a belly rub anytime you have one to give. Luca comes from a background of neglect, so he does have a limp from an old hip fracture that was never fixed, but it doesn't slow him down one bit. When we rescued him, he needed eye surgery for cherry eye and an entropian repair (inverted lower lid where the eyelashes rub on the eye and irritate the eye). He is all fixed up now, all he has is dry eye and needs daily eye drops which he takes like a champ.
His foster Mom says Luca is appreciative of love and attention because he never had it before and he deserves the best home ever because of all he has been through.
