we need you, our monthly donors!

Camp Cocker Rescue is such a small organization and we are barely getting by, just one donation at a time. Because we often end up rescuing dogs with a lot of medical needs, we end up spending more per dog than most other rescue groups do. For most if not all of the dogs that we are rescuing, Camp Cocker is literally their last chance. Sweet Pea was rescued in 2009 and because of our donor support, he is still doing well in fos-pice care (foster/hospice) with Camp Cocker. We can only continue to do this with your ongoing support! Please consider becoming a monthly donor and help us to continue to make a difference, one donation at a time, one dog at a time!
For the month of July, every new monthly donor will receive a copy of the inspirational book "A Dog's Purpose". For as little as ten dollars a month, you can make a difference! In addition, we have bonus raffles that every monthly donor gets entered into. Just our small way of expressing the gratitude we have for each and every one of you!
Camp Cocker Rescue operates under the 501c3 of Katrina Dog Rescue, Tax ID #20-8687566. Katrina Dog Rescue was inspired by and formed shortly after Cathy returned from volunteering in New Orleans. Since then, we focused in on a single breed (inspired by Katrina Muffin, a blind cocker rescued from Hurricane Katrina), hence how the Camp Cocker name came about.

Come on out and meet some of the wiggle butts of Camp Cocker Rescue! Saturday July 16th and Sunday July 17th we are showing dogs at the Petco in San Luis Obispo! (271 Madonna Road, SLO, CA 93405) Camp Cocker is currently looking for volunteers in the SLO area to help us start showing dogs every weekend. C'mon, join Team Camp Cocker and make a difference!

Congratulations to our June raffle winner, monthly donors Steve & Karen Bell of Portland, Oregon! They adopted Camp Cocker alumni Zach from us and he has since passed his therapy dog certification and now gives back by "working" one day a week at a senior citizen home. Good for you Zach! And thank you to Steve and Karen for their monthly donations to help us rescue the future Zachs of the world!
