Stuart goes to school
Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 06:30PM Stuart graduates from his first agility class!
Stuart, Camp Cocker's Ambassador to the bay area, is just getting smarter and smarter. His mommy, Monica, took Stuart to six classes for "Introduction to Agility". Proud Stuart shows off his graduation certificate and now he is ready for his next agility class. "Bring it on" says Stuart! He LOVES learning new things.
Taking your rescue dog to classes is not only fun for your dog but also deepens your relationship to make a stronger bond. Sort of like having a spouse and setting aside one night a week for date night? Same thing with your dog. Set aside one day a week to do something just for the two of you, one-on-one. Take a class together, go to the beach or go for a hike. Turn off your cell phone and just spend some time with your dog with no distractions. Stuart must look forward to these classes with his mommy because it is their special time together and he knows that she and he are a team to take on the class together!
