To all of the friends of Camp Cocker, the volunteers, the donors, the adopters, the foster homes . . . without all of you, there would be no Camp Cocker. We love you and appreciate you more than you will ever know. Truly, you will NEVER know what a tremendous difference you are making. One donation at a time, one dog at a time, it takes a village of all of us to save these special dogs who very much deserve our help. We have many goals to reach in 2011 and we are setting the bar high. To get more monthly donors so that we do not struggle every month and constantly worry how we are going to pay for everything. To be able to get our own rescue facility where we can rehab dogs and offer them a more comfortable environment while awaiting adoption. To be able to get many more foster homes to have standing by at all times to be of service to a dog in need. To be able to establish more rescue partners in other regions where cockers are desired by high quality adopters. To be able to get many more dedicated and high quality volunteers who really believe in what we are doing and want to help. To be able to save two dogs for every one dog we were able to save in 2010 (okay, now we are really reaching for the stars, but we can try, can't we?). Five years ago, Camp Cocker was just one person rescuing one dog at a time. Now look at us . . . look at YOU and what you've helped to create and support!
