Aiden

Adopted SEPTEMBER 2019!

Aiden’s Story:

Aiden is a sweet and silly goofball whom we had rescued from the Apple Valley animal shelter in July 2018. This little dude was a mess. Around 1 or 2 years of age, he had cherry eye, terrible ear infections, and a bad case of sarcoptic mange. He spent 6 weeks in quarantine fighting off his sarcoptic mange, only to discover that he was still scratching himself to the point of bleeding because he had severe allergies. The poor guy was allergic to everything under the sun! Under the care of a dermatologist, Aiden went through a long and experimental process of immunotherapy and medication to finally get his allergies managed. He still needs regular vet visits and medication to make sure he maintains his healthy condition and doesn't backslide, but at least now he can run, play, and eat just like any other dog. Sadly, Aiden struggled to find a forever home because of his ongoing chronic allergies.

Aiden is a youngster with lots of energy and he’s doing great in his new life! He’s had some allergy flares but is doing well on his medicine and his parents found some foods that he does well with. His family moved to Washington and puppy monkey Aiden is having so much fun exploring. His adopters decided to celebrate his Birthday in May and had a fun party to celebrate him. Sometimes his mom plays him a video of Cathy from Camp Cocker and he goes crazy. I guess he remembers us! We’ll certainly never forget you, sweet Aiden.
