WELCOME TO CAMP COCKER RESCUE, APPLE!

APPLE is a female Cocker Spaniel Freedom Flyer from South Korea, anticipated to arrive in Los Angeles the first week of November.

Apple was rescued from a puppy mill by the Cocker Moms, our rescue partners in South Korea in July. Since then she’s been spayed, had a dental and surgical repair of cherry eye in her left eye, and has been successfully treated for heartworm.

Apple is a sweet shy girl, becoming a little less shy since her rescue, and is estimated* to be about 4-5 years old, and weighs about 17 lbs.

10/26/23 LATEST UPDATE FROM APPLE’S FOSTER MOM:

• I can tell you for sure that she is cat/child friendly.

• She is just the sweetest!

10/18/23 UPDATES FROM APPLE’S FOSTER MOM:

- Apple might need time in potty training. But she goes potty in the same place she did when she arrived at my house. the same spot all the time. so I have placed pee pads there. Even if there are no pee pads, she goes potty there.
- I recommend getting her to potty outside perhaps the first day she arrives. Then she might continue to potty there. (It's just a guess)
- But apart from that she is so lovely
- Everyone loves her. She is really small.
- I have not once heard her bark.

Apple is scheduled to arrive in the first week of November 2023. If you’re interested, consider applying for Apple even before she arrives. We’re screening applications as they come in, and will be making decisions as appropriate. Once we have Apple under our wings, we’ll begin the match-making! ❤️❤️
