Archie’s Story:

Baby Archie was about 5 months old when he joined Camp Cocker as part of our Freedom Flight program in December 202o. He and five other beagles (a few of which are believed to be his littermates) were flown to Los Angeles, CA after they’d been rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea. We are so thankful to our rescue partners at Korean K9 Rescue for saving them!

Archie warmed up to his new family his first day home, and they say he couldn’t be a better puppy. He immediately began playing with his young human sister like they had been doing it for years. Archie also walks great on the leash, enjoys playing with other dogs at doggy daycare, and bravely defends his family at night against the reflection of himself in their sliding glass door. He is a happy, silly boy!

With our Freedom Flight program, Camp Cocker is not only able to change the lives of the dogs that we fly to America, but it also puts smiles on the faces of their adopters who have wonderful homes to offer but have had difficulty finding a small dog to adopt from their local shelters. It’s a win-win! We truly believe that Compassion Has No Borders.
