Aster’s Story:

Rescued from the San Bernardino City Shelter in May 2020, this cutie pie had been hit by a car and suffered some pelvic fractures that left her unable to move her hind legs. Camp Cocker Rescue got her the care she needed, and after several weeks of rest while recovering from surgery, this sweet one-year-old was ready to play!

Though she was originally a bit skittish around men, Aster’s new dad has worked hard to gain her trust and the two now enjoy long walks exploring the neighborhood together. She has become very comfortable with both mom and dad and has really blossomed in their care.

Aster’s adopters lovingly renamed her Sadie and could not be more thrilled to have this snuggly little pup in their lives. Sadie loves attention and always wants to cuddle. She also likes to help her mom in the yoga studio and play catch with her dad. It’s very exciting for Sadie when her human sisters come to visit the home, too! She’s such a sweetheart.
