Autumn

Adopted NOVEMBER 2022!

Autumn’s Story:

This ridiculously pretty cocker girl was sprung from the Burbank, CA animal shelter in October 2022. She had been turned into the shelter by someone who allegedly found her running loose in a parking lot. She needed cherry eye surgery, which we had done for her a few weeks after her rescue. At only 1 year of age, she had a lot of puppy energy and exercise needs. She would flourish with an adopter prepared for training classes or working with a force-free dog trainer to help her get caught up on the training and socializing she missed out on earlier in her life.

Now going by Birdie (her mom used to be a big golfer), she is living her best life in San Diego. She enjoys going on daily morning walks and multiple trips to their buildings dog park every day. She is so well behaved and adaptable; her family tells us she has been a very easy dog! She does great when her mom goes to work for a few hours each day (she watches her on camera), and they’re planning on starting professional training very soon. The entire family is so in love with Birdie and her sweet temperament. She already fits right in with the other dogs at her granparent’s home in Santa Barbara. The dogs have a blast playing together and their 2-year-old golden doodle, Dolly, is completely obsessed with her. Birdie loves visiting the beach, bring wherever her people are, and napping cuddled right up to the other dogs.

From Birdie’s adopter: “Autumn is literally the PERFECT dog for me! She is going to have the best life ever filled with so much fun and love.
