WECOME TO CAMP COCKER BAGEL!

• Bagel is a sweet, friendly, male Beagle mix - estimated to be 2-4 years old. He’s underweight, and will need to add a few more pounds to be at his ideal weight.

• He is super human-interactive, dog-friendly, and hasn’t reacted to cats in his vicinity. His care-takers describe him as “such a nice boy!”

• Bagel was admitted to the Riverside County Animal Shelter with left tibia & fibula fractures, and had been cleared for euthanization “to be euthanized at any time without notice.”

• Thankfully, we were able to get to the shelter in time, and got Bagel into the VCA Specialty Hospital for surgery right away! The surgeon repaired Bagel’s left leg fractures, and he now has one plate, seven screws, and one tiny pin as souvenirs!

• Bagel is currently on 8 weeks of crate rest to protect his left leg as it heals. The leg is already weight-bearing, and this little monkey obviously thinks he’s ready to get going!

• Bagel will be ready for adoption at the end of his 8 weeks of crate rest, followed by his neuter surgery, which we anticipate will be by late February.

  We are accepting applications for Bagel now - for his anticipated availability at the end of February.

  Bagel is being fostered in Southern California.
