Bambi’s Story:

Beautiful Bambi was rescued in September 2020 as part of our Freedom Flight program. This 1-year-old Belgian Malinois from South Korea is active, playful, sweet and confident. She has lots of energy and absolutely loves balls. She just wants to play fetch all day long! She’d had leg surgery in South Korea as a puppy and, after we’d noticed her limping, we were advised that she would need to have another knee surgery. But first, she began a physical therapy regimen that included visiting a rehab clinic twice a week, as well as doing exercises at home. Doing this work helped to strengthen and stabilize her core and limbs prior to surgery.

This sweet girl is incredibly smart and eager to learn! Now named Molly, her adopters joyfully told us about the moment when they knew they became “her people.” It was her second day in her new home when Molly went up to each of them, curling around them giving them each a cuddle prior to going back to playing. Her parents shared that it was such a great moment for them. They say Molly is so sweet and smart it’s just amazing. Her energy does not waver, but thankfully she is a good napper!

From Molly’s adopters: “Molly is so loving and gentle. We are so grateful to have her in our lives... We truly love her.”
