Billy

Adopted DECEMBER 2021!

Billy’s Story:

Freedom Flyer Billy arrived from South Korea in November 2021. This sweet, young cocker boy couldn’t have been more than a couple years old and was incredibly sweet and friendly with everyone he met. He had been rescued from Chungdo, near Daegu City in South Korea with a fractured back leg. Billy had orthopedic surgery in Korea to have a plate and some pins put into the leg and he now gets around well with just a little stiffness. He’s a happy, healthy boy who loves playing and snuggling!

Billy is doing very well in his new home. His dad says he's been curious and enjoys exploring around the house. He’s had no potty accidents and is getting more comfortable there each day. He is even confident enough to spend time alone in different rooms instead of sticking with his adopter all the time. He likes going for runs with his dad and occasionally visiting the dog park. He’s a playful pup with a happy tail. His adopter says he seems happy in general. Billy is socializing a bit and slowly learning to trust other humans.

During a routine visit to the vet, they learned that a wire from his leg surgery had shifted and needed to be removed. He quickly recovered from surgery and was soon looking a lot more lively again. Billy is such a good boy and is enjoying his awesome new life in America!
