Adopted FEBUARY 2024!

Blue’s Story:

One of our Freedom Flyers in February 2024, this handsome gentleman came to us from South Korea after he’d been rescued from the Suwon animal shelter. Because he was microchipped, the shelter would not release him for a full six months. Apart from treating his ears and having a few little moles removed, he was a healthy cocker spaniel, possibly mixed with poodle. Blue arrived completely potty trained and even stops at the door to have his paws wiped before going back inside! Not only is he smart, but he’s also incredibly sweet, well mannered, loves other dogs, cats, even babies… he’s basically the perfect dog!

Now known as Lou, his adopter shares that he has been enjoying their walks around the neighborhood and really loves getting belly rubs! Even the groomer was a big fan of Lou, saying he was very patient and cooperative for his bath and nail trim. He's taken over the couch and loves meeting new dogs at their local dog-friendly coffee shop, which has a little gated area for dogs. He let out a friendly play bark at another dog there, the first time anyone had heard him bark! Lou’s adopter is helping him get to a healthy weight on a diet of Just Food for Dogs mixed with some high quality kibble. He and his vet are also working to figure out what allergies are making Lou so itchy. Overall, everything is going well!

We love this duo and are thrilled to see Lou enjoying the fresh start he so deserves. Compassion truly knows no borders!
