Cameron

Adopted MAY 2019!

Cameron’s Story:

Cutie-pie Cameron was rescued by our friends at Band For Animal after his former owner left him tied up to a short rope and abandoned him. In April 2019, this adorable freckle faced fella then joined Camp Cocker as one of our Freedom Flyers from South Korea at around age 2. If he had ever ended up in one of our local municipal animal shelters, he’d be adopted super quickly, but dogs like Cameron have very little chance of being adopted in South Korea due the stigma around adopting shelter dogs there.

Now named Budley, this sweet cocker spaniel is not only gorgeous, but is also super affectionate and energetic. He’s completed three weeks of "boot camp" training where he learned all of the basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, heel, and to walk nicely at his adopter’s left leg. It took his new dad about nine months to fully house-train him, but he finally got it. Budley is smart at puzzle solving and loves to sing when he hears fire sirens go by. He and his dad do a lot of walking together and sometimes go to the dog park to run. Because Budley is still a youngster, his adopter also takes him to daycare once a week so that he gets a good dose of play time each week. Budley loves to play with other dogs!

Budley’s dad tells us that probably 90% of people who see Budley remark at what a beautiful dog he is… his dad agrees 100%!
