Charlotte

Adopted FEBRUARY 2023!

Charlotte’s Story:

Rescued in November 2022, this cutie is just the sweetest little cocker spaniel ever! She’s patient and quiet and gets along well with people and other dogs. Our rescue partners known as Korean K9 Rescue had found Charlotte at the Mokpo City animal shelter in South Korea. She was treated for heartworm in October and had cherry eye surgery done on her right eye. Unfortunately, the cherry eye surgery done in Korea did not stick, so Charlotte had a second cherry eye surgery shortly after arriving here in America. She’d been flown to Los Angeles, CA as part of our Freedom Flight program.

Things are going great in her new home! Now known as Charlie, her adopter tells us that she’s having fewer accidents inside and gets better at walking on the leash every day. Charlie absolutely loves her walks and likes to copy her cocker sister, Lilli, by sniffing everything in sight. She already has “sit” down pretty good and they’re now working on “stay”. Her mom says Charlie is really smart, but gets very excited! She sleeps on the bed with her, relaxes in the bathroom keeping an eye on her as she gets ready in the mornings (just like her sister Lilli does), and seems to be settling in quite well. She especially loves play time in the morning and getting belly rubs! Her mom has really been enjoying watching the more quirky parts of Charlie’s personality come out.
