David

Adopted JULY 2023!

David’s Story:

Darling David and his brother, Bowie, joined Camp Cocker’s Freedom Flight program in April 2023 after they’d been rescued from a shelter in Korea by our rescue partners known as Korean K9 Rescue. This young cocker spaniel, just a few years old, was underweight and had heartworm. David plays wells with other dogs, but he usually prefers to stay close to his humans. He’s a people-loving dog who loves to cuddle! He was fully house-trained when we rescued him, knows to sit and give a paw, and he also does very well with baths and walking on a leash. Because he has separation anxiety, David needed to have another dog with him or he would howl and bark when left alone. He was treated for his heartworm (he is now heartworm-free!) and saw a cardiologist for a grade 3-4 heart murmur.

David’s new family is madly in love with him. He enjoys snuggling with his three older dog brothers, Frank, Cody and Bocelli, and sleeps next to his mom ever night. He is having lots of fun exploring their garden and playing with the other dogs. David loves taking walks, chasing squirrels and cats, and is very curious and wants to investigate everything! He also likes stuffed toys and taking afternoon naps in the sun.

From David’s adopter: “We love him so much! He is doing great!
