Franklin

Adopted NOVEMBER 2023!

Franklin’s Story:

Freedom Flyer Franklin joined Camp Cocker in November of 2023. Estimated to be 3-5 years old, he had been living in an alleyway outside of a grocery store in Mongolia for about five months. His rescuers at HZ rescue say he was initially withdrawn, but slowly began to show more of his personality. He is a very sweet boy, friendly and quiet. Franklin does have something going on with his carpal joints (possibly a congenital deformity) and will need to have a consultation with an orthopedic surgeon.

Franklin had been staying in a nice foster home in Mongolia with another one of the dogs we had committed to, named Jessy. When Jessy’s adopters flew to Mongolia to pick her up, they met Franklin and fell in love with him, too! Franklin’s parents say they are partial to cockers because they seem to have a level of communication with humans that is unique; they can speak through their eyes. Franklin and Jessy have lots of fun living together and both enjoy getting attention and pets from people when they’re out and about with their parents. They’re both such nice dogs, they’re popular wherever they go! They have now been on overnight trips to Palm Springs, Lake Arrow Head and even Las Vegas. Franklin enjoys playing with toys but is very gentle with them. He also likes to play fetch, wrestle with his parents, and run laps around the living room when he’s excited! Adorable.

From Franklin’s adopters: “We are having so much fun with them.
