Haddie’s Story:

Ga-ga-gorgeous Haddie was rescued from the Animal Friends of the Valleys Shelter in Wildomar, CA in September 2020 after she’d been picked up as a stray. Between 9 to 12 years old, she was obese from an untreated thyroid condition. Her skin was also in terrible shape from years of neglect, her teeth were yucky, and she suffered from chronic ear infections. She must have been so uncomfortable! Haddie was put on a diet from Just Food For Dogs and slowly she began getting her excess weight off. She’s a super sweet, affectionate cocker spaniel.

Ms. Haddie is great with people and other dogs and is generally a quiet gal. Her loving adopters report that she is such a good girl and she’s settling into the home really well! She and her new brothers, two senior cavaliers named Rufus and Cooper, get along great and Haddie quickly became her mom’s little shadow and coworker.

Haddie’s parents have experience with senior and special needs doggies and they specifically wanted to provide a forever home to another senior cocker spaniel to provide the love and medical attention she’d need to thrive in her golden years. They are dedicated to doing everything they can to provide a loving, stable, dog-centered forever home. We are so grateful that Haddie has found such a special family to call her own.
