Honey’s Story:

Honey was rescued from the Downey SEAACA Shelter in July 2020 after being picked up as a stray. She had lost a lot of her fur, including all of the hair from her tail, due to untreated Dermatitis possibly caused by a flea allergy.

This happy-go-lucky girl is super affectionate, loves belly rubs and snuggling, and wants nothing more than to be loved on. Her new dad has named her Taylor, and affectionately refers to her as “a beautiful soul.” Yes, she is.

Taylor made herself right at home in her new house, immediately exploring every square inch of the place. She likes to calmly lay in a bed next to her dad’s desk while he is working, and at night she enjoys cuddling up against him in bed (though, she is admittedly a bit of a bed hog). She just enjoys being close. This energetic girl has tons of fun playing with her beloved papa, too, and is always up for play bows and and poking her wet nose into his face.

Taylor’s adopter has been very generous in expressing his adoration for this absolute perfect match, and he describes her demeanor as “a great combination of total sweetness and mischievous curiosity.”
