Huey

Adopted JUNE 2019!

Huey’s Story:

Who has the cutest, squishiest face in the whole world?! It's our very special Freedom Flyer and Japanese Chin, Huey! This cutie is a super sweet, super chill dude. He was about 9 years old when he joined Camp Cocker, flying to us from South Korea. Huey loves to be held and be near people all the time. As an older dude, he has some on-going medical issues, particularly a mild heart condition and cataracts, but that just makes him even more amazing and lovable.

Sweet little Huey loves playing with his toys and snuggling up with his human. He is an incredibly affectionate dog. About a year after his adoption, Huey began experiencing some difficulties with his windpipe (a common issue for his breed). His momma took him to see a cardiologist, who put him on medication that he is now responding well to. His family loves him a lot and are hopeful that they can give him some more healthy years with them.

From Huey’s adopter: “Having him in our family has been such a blessing.”
