Jameson

Adopted FEBUARY 2024!

Jameson’s Story:

This special boy joined Camp Cocker Rescue in January 2024 after he was discovered at the Los Angeles Harbor animal shelter, extremely emaciated. It broke our hearts how thin this beautiful young cocker spaniel was. Jameson slowly began to gain weight eating three meals a day, enjoying a healthy diet from Just Food for Dogs. Despite being malnourished, he has such a sweet, cheerful, and playful disposition! After having him carefully medically evaluated to determine the cause of his weight loss and an elevated white blood cell count, we were told that Jameson appears to be healthy. What a relief! We want the very best for this friendly little boy who had be so neglected.

Now known as Teddy, he is quickly becoming comfortable in his new home. Some of his adopter’s kids and grandkids came to meet him on the first night home and everyone immediately fell in love with him! His new family also includes a new dog brother, named Olie, a sweet senior cocker spaniel who had been rescued five years earlier. They enjoy taking daily long walks on the beach, visiting their local dog park, and the occasional hiking adventure. Energetic Teddy gets lots of walks, and his parents tell us they can’t seem to tire him out! Their vet thinks his age is closer to just one year old.

Teddy’s adopters are committed to giving him the best life possible. They look forward to spoiling him, taking him along on their travels, and feed him healthy, homemade food.
