Adopted MAY 2020!

Jax’s Story:

This goofy Boxer boy was rescued in San Bernardino, CA in April 2020. Jax was super thin at that time and our vet had to do some diagnostics to further explore why he wasn't gaining weight. An extended fecal test helped to explain the mystery. Between 1-2 years of age, Jax had high levels of CPA Gene Copies (CPA = C.perfringens Alpha Toxin). The vet started him on a medication to help treat this and Jax was finally able to gain some weight and become healthier.

Now known as Bruno, his adopters fell in love at first sight and feel so very lucky to have adopted him. He is full of energy and kisses! He is doing really well in his new home and they all enjoy taking long walks together, jogging, hiking, and playing in the backyard. Sounds perfect for this energetic bundle of cuteness.

From Bruno’s adopters: “He’s been a perfect balance of play and love. We can’t remember what life was like before adopting him!”
