Jessy

Adopted SEPTEMBER 2023!

Jessy’s Story:

Traveling to America from Mongolia in September 2023, Jessy had been rescued after someone spotted her in the street in the Narantuul area of Ulaanbaatar. She was drinking from a muddy puddle and, judging by her appearance, she’d been a stray for a long time. At the shelter in Mongolia, Jessy lived among 90 other dogs without any issues, and even got along with the shelter cats! She enjoyed being with other small dogs and especially loved playing with puppies. She likes attention from people and will sit next to you and lean up against you to be petted. It seems likely that she was a house dog at some point and looks as though she’s had multiple litters of puppies. She is a sweet, quiet girl, estimated to be around eight years old.

Jessy has the sweetest disposition and is heart-breakingly cute. Her new parents were so excited to welcome her into their family that they flew to Mongolia to get her themselves! Not only that, but they generously picked up another cocker spaniel that we’d committed to, named Honey, and brought her back to America for Camp Cocker. We are so grateful for their kindness, and their enthusiasm! Jessy’s adopters adore her. She even joins them at the bars sometimes where they tell us she is a model of good decorum. At home, Jessy loves to snuggle and follow them around, but also enjoys playing with toys and easily entertains herself. She is fully house trained and is an all around awesome dog.
