A little timid, but very affectionate
Doesn’t really know how to walk on a leash
Doesn’t like being in a crate
Will bark when he is a little nervous
Has had a long life filled with neglect and needs someone patience and kind to let him learn how to be a dog for the first time.

Joey has been through years of terrible neglect. Here is what he looked like when we rescued him:
Joey needed to be sedated in order for the vets to shave off all of his matted hair.
He had so much hair disgusting hair shaved off that where was enough to make a whole other dog. Plus, he had ticks in-between all of the folds of mat. It was so gross!
