Jojo

Adopted NOVEMBER 2021!

Jojo’s Story:

Jojo joined Camp Cocker as one of our Freedom Flyers in September 2020. He was flown from South Korea along with another little terrier mix, named Mimi. Jojo needed to have an umbilical hernia repair done and was such a little trooper at our vet. He is a sweet boy who likes to be pet once he is comfortable and is approached slowly, but he’s extremely timid and head shy and a very high flight risk. He’s also very scared of men and hates walking on a leash. Estimated to be 6-8 years of age, it took quite some time to find the right home for Jojo due to his fear issues and occasional fear aggression. Sadly, this little guy didn’t get very many applications for adoption.

Adorable, scruffy Jojo finally found his happily ever after when one of the employees at his boarding home decided to adopt him! The two had formed a strong relationship and his new mom is very familiar with his insecurities and limitations. She’s able to provide a safe and secure environment for Jojo to simply enjoy his new life. Jojo is a mellow dude, is not a huge fan of playing with other dogs, but does like cuddling with them and sunbathing outside. If Jojo could have picked anyone in the world to be his forever family, we’re certain that he would have chosen his adopter.

They are working on his socializing and being a normal house dog, and so far he doing awesome! He’s loving the new experiences and she found out he really loves the beach! Aw, we just love a happy ending.
