Kermit

Adopted FEBRUARY 2022!

Kermit’s Story:

Rescued in January 2022, Kermit flew to Los Angeles, CA from South Korea with another Freedom Flyer, named Marlon. This sweet, squishy-faced cocker spaniel was very friendly, but didn’t enjoy having his back legs touched by the vet or groomer. He was, however, eager for treats and very food motivated.

Now known as Dunkin Do, his parents are working with him on potty manners and say they’re making good progress. Dunkin likes playing with toys and really enjoys shaking them. They say all is going well, that Dunkin is very smart and eager to please, and they’re having fun getting to know their new little man. While Dunkin and his dad were outside together one of his first days there, Dunkin actually picked a tangerine from the tree and ate it. What a funny puppy!

Dunkin loves, loves, loves to eat. He gets so excited waiting for his food that he does the zoomies, spinning in circles in the kitchen. He enjoys vegetables with his meals, especially his pumpkin and green beans. His new cat brother, Cowboy, actually broke the ice with Dunkin while he was eating by rubbing up against him. Apparently, Dunkin is so food motivated that he did not even notice! What a nice kitty Cowboy is. Dunkin’s parents say it’s very nice to have a furry pup back in the household.
