Millie’s Story:

In October 2019, this beautiful 10-month-old Cairn terrier mix was rescued from South Korea. She traveled to Los Angeles, CA with another dog, named Allison, as part of our Freedom Flight Rescue program. Tiny, fluffy, sweet, and a little timid, she took a little while to warm up to new people and things.

Millie is very silly, affectionate, and great with other dogs! Her adopters report that she is doing awesome and has gotten so brave in their care. While she’s still a little skittish around new people and new dogs, she’s improved a great deal. They practice positive reinforcement when she has her brave moments, so she gets lots of treats!

Millie is a major cuddle bug. She loves to be curled up between her parents, her favorite spot being perched on the back of the couch behind her dad’s shoulder. She’s smart, too, and even knows how to sit, shake and high five now! Millie and her Corgi sister, Yuki, get along really well. They both enjoy riding in the back seat of the car together and visiting the dog park a few times a week.

From Millie’s adopters: “We really feel like we got lucky with her, as she’s very sweet, quiet and obedient.”
