Mineral

Adopted JANUARY 2024!

Mineral’s Story:

At roughly 5-7 years of age, Mineral joined Camp Cocker as part of our Freedom Flight program in January of 2024. She had been rescued from a shelter in South Korea and needed to lose some weight. Unfortunately, Mineral was also coughing a lot and had to be hospitalized for three days. She still needed to be spayed, as well, in addition to having a few mammary tumors removed. She’s such a friendly cocker spaniel, and cute as a button!

Now named Minnie, her adopter excitedly flew to California to meet her when she arrived from Korea and then flew home with her to Texas. She had been looking for a sweet little cocker who could travel on planes with her! The two enjoy taking long walks on the trails, playing and cuddling together, and going on public outings like shopping and eating out at restaurants. Minnie loves to fetch, pull apart stuffies, and roll around on her back like a silly monkey. She also enjoys sleeping most of the day, snoring loudly! Her favorite spot is on the human bed, especially on pillows. She is bringing her new mama so much joy. They are currently working on resolving Minnie’s separation anxiety.

Lovely Minnie will soon have a mast cell tumor removed from her backside, which Camp Cocker is gladly sponsoring. We are crossing all of the paws that she remains cancer-free!

From Minnie’s adopter: “I am so lucky to be Minnie’s mom!!
