Oscar’s Story:

At approximately 5-8 years old, this sweet, shaggy fella joined Camp Cocker Rescue as part of our Freedom Flight Rescue program in September 2020. Because of the "new normal" since the pandemic, there are fewer chances for us to rescue small dogs from the shelters here in California, and we have been happy to play matchmaker for adopters and these amazing dogs from South Korea.

Oscar is a very happy, sweet and social Tibetan Terrier mix. He arrived at the Los Angeles airport curious, wagging his tail and ready to cuddle. He is good with other dogs but he LOVES humans and is a snuggly teddy bear. His new parents lovingly renamed him Wall-e, and what a wonderful addition he has made to their little family!

Wall-e went to his new home on Halloween day and has been enjoying lots of attention and nice walks around the neighborhood with his adopters. Although he doesn’t care too much for toys or treats, Wall-e loves constant pets and enjoys watching the television. Wall-e’s mom and dad are thrilled to have him and can’t wait to see his personality come out more over time.
