Paddington

Adopted OCTOBER 2019!

Paddington’s Story:

Who wouldn't love a squishy face like Paddington’s! Between 5 to 7 years old, this sweet cocker spaniel boy is an all around supreme cuddle-bug. Paddington was rescued from the Lancaster/Los Angeles county animal shelter in late 2018. He had challenges to adoption in that he was insecure and would bark at strangers when out on walks. We learned that once he bonds to his primary person, he’d want to guard them from strangers and would howl and whine when they weren’t home. Paddington needed a very special adopter who would be patient with him. He's a great listener and quick learner, in addition to being a very affectionate, big, fluffy goofball.

Paddington is doing fantastic in his new home his family tells us that he could not have been a better match for them. They absolutely love to tell anyone who will listen about their perfect little Paddington! He quickly adapted to their work from home schedule, believing he is their intern and demanding that he and his blue bone are present for every meeting. Paddington continues to love his food, walks to the park, and of course his naps. They affectionately call his various beds “his center” as it seems to always ground him.

From Paddington’s adopters: “Please know how grateful we continue to be for having made this connection with the Camp Cocker family, and of course Paddington. He is, and always will be incredibly loved! He truly is a special little angel.”
