Raul

Adopted FEBUARY 2024!

Raul’s Story:

This good-looking boy with the beautiful brown eyes was approximately 4-5 years old when he flew to America from South Korea. Our rescue partners there known as Cocker Spaniel Friends had received word that a cocker spaniel was left living outside on a rooftop. The weather was -10C and snowing a lot. When they could not find him because the address they’d been given was incorrect, they got the authorities involved. After a month of trying to track him down, the authorities finally found the owner, who was reluctant to hand Raul over. Thankfully, they were finally persuaded to do so and he joined us in February 2024 as part of our Freedom Flight program.

Raul is so happy in his new home! He basically just jumped in and was part of the family right away. He is very loving and loves to snuggle and give kisses. Fetch is life for him, so his family is having a lot of fun playing ball with him, especially the children. He gets Bark Box so the toys are piling high, and he enjoys going on runs and is always a big hit when they visit the park. They kept his name Raul and, although it’s been kind of difficult, they have been learning commands in Korean to keep his culture alive for him. Apparently, they have everyone at work speaking it, too! Raul is very cuddly at night and enjoys sleeping on the bed with them. They tell us he is sweet, respectful, and is having so much fun with the kids! He’s even nice to their guinnea pigs.
