WELCOME TO CAMP COCKER RESCUE, REESE!

Reese is a stunningly beautiful red Cocker Spaniel that found herself in a shelter in Wildomar, CA after her medical needs were neglected by whomever owned her before.

The shelter estimated her to be 7.5 years of age, so we’re calling her 8 years old! She currently weighs 21 pounds which is a perfect weight for her!

Reese came to us with multiple mammary tumors that need to be removed and biopsied asap before they grew any larger. Her surgeries needed to be scheduled for one mammary chain (one side of her body) at a time. We have great news following the first surgery to remove the right mammary chain - there is no evidence of infiltrative behavior, nor cellular indices of malignancy within the masses - no cancer detected! Reese had her second surgery (left side) on 11/15, and we are now optimistically awaiting the results of that biopsy - optimistically because of the great results from her first biopsy! 11/25/23 UPDATE: Reese’s biopsy from her 2nd surgery just came in, and it is negative! NO MALIGNANCIES, NO CANCER!!

Reese has been described by her fosters as very sweet, dog-friendly, and loves people - just a very nice girl! She knows “sit” and is very food-motivated, which is great for training.

*Please note that any age provided is only an estimate, based on veterinary examination.

Reese is being fostered in the Los Angeles area.
