Sienna

Adopted AUGUST 2019!

Sienna’s Story:

Rescued in June 2019, Sienna was tremendously shy and skittish. This poor girl would cower if you moved too fast towards her. After being rescued from the SEAACA animal shelter in Downey, Los Angeles, Sienna was taken to the vet with a fever of 104 degrees. She was put on oxygen and fluids and diagnosed with pneumonia. Sienna would not eat and we just felt like she had given up on life. This girl needed the most patient, kind, and nurturing adopter to help her build confidence in herself. We could see what a sweet and gentle soul she is. After weeks in the hospital, she began to feel better, to eat on her own, and finally perked up. An amazing future awaited her.

Sienna has been such a joy to her new family. She was initially pretty shy and timid with them, but with time she has turned into an adorable, tail-wagging, happy little sock thief! She loves visiting the dog park, hanging out with her dog buddies, and taking long walks with her parents.

From Sienna’s adopters: “Our home has been blessed when Sienna became part of our family.”
