Sully

Adopted FEBRUARY 2024!

Sully’s Story:

Sweet puppy Sully was rescued from the North Central animal shelter in January 2024. At about 10 weeks of age, he and his six littermates had been left there in a laundry basket by someone claiming they didn't know who or where their parents were, earning them the nickname the ‘laundry basket puppies’. The shelter staff immediately reached out to Camp Cocker to ask if we could help them - of course we said yes! A mix of miniature schnauzer, poodle, cocker spaniel and more, these precious pups are all so sweet and playful! We were committed to finding shy little Sully a home with another, more confident dog in the residence to help him along.

This sweet boy, now known as Chief, has joined a loving family that includes a friendly young cockapoo named Lady! At just 2 years of age, Lady was happy to welcome the youngster into their home and Chief has really taken to following her lead. The kids can hardly wait to train their new puppy and snuggle up with him at night once he no longer needs to stay in the crate. So far, Chief has really adjusted to his crate and even sleeps through the night, waking his parents up when he needs to go potty. The entire family is excited to share fun beach trips and camping adventures together!

From Chief’s adopters: “We adore him!
