Susu

Adopted OCTOBER 2022!

Susu’s Story:

Sweet little older lady, SuSu, had been living on a property in South Korea with a man that had too many dogs and wasn’t giving them proper care or attention. Our rescue friends known as the Cocker Moms attempted to save her a few years ago, but the man refused to give up any of his dogs. He was eventually forced to relinquish the dogs and another rescue group (Dasom) was able to rescue SuSu. Dasom worked with Korean K9 Rescue (one of our long time rescue partners) to help SuSu find an American rescue group to take her. Dasom helped to fix her up and vet her before she could travel to America. Susu’s teeth were so rotten and painful that she had to have most of them extracted. She may be deaf, and an older gal, but she’s certainly worthy of having a chance to be someone’s much loved and spoiled companion.

Now named Lucy, she has blossomed since joining her new household. Her mom shares that she is truly a joyous little gal. Lucy loves cuddling, taking walks with her best dog buddy, Henry, and playing fetch. She wakes up every morning super happy and prances around the house. She is very social, shares with other dogs and even gives them kisses! Sweet Lucy often sleeps with one paw on her mom’s arm, who loves to spoil her.

From Lucy’s adopter: “She’s very loving and sweet and is a perfect fit for me.”
