Suzy

Adopted JUNE 2022!

Suzy’s Story:

Sweet Suzy joined Camp Cocker in May 2022 as one of our Freedom Flyers from South Korea. She had been found in a shelter in Buchun and was in line to be euthanized. We are so grateful to our rescue partners at Korean K9 Rescue for saving her! Suzy is super sweet and snuggly, and she’s friendly with everyone. She doesn’t really play with other dogs, but enjoys mingling and sniffing. Suzy can be a little bit of a resource guarder with toys and high value items with other doggies, but she’s usually very polite. Estimated to be between 6-8 years of age, this gorgeous little cocker spaniel weighs only 19.4 pounds.

This lovely lady is now known as Luna, and her adopter tells us that everything is going very well in her new home! She’s adjusting quickly and her mom is trying to ease in some separation anxiety training, slowly but surely, to help her become more independent. Little Luna has lots of fun energy and just loves to be wherever her mama is. They are currently working on Luna’s separation anxiety and habit of barking at strangers. Luna is becoming more confident and is such a sweet girl with her mama.
