Teddy Bear
Owner relinquish
APRIL 2023 - - - - - ** TEDDY Bear IS PENDING ADOPTION!! **
WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT TEDDY BEAR:
Teddy Bear is an owner relinquish from a caring, but busy, adopter who felt that he was worthy of more time and attention than she was able to provide. She made the difficult decision to find a better fit for him, and reached out to Camp Cocker Rescue for help.
He was born on September 20, 2021, so he’s just over 18 months old, and he weighs 28 pounds.
He is potty trained, and enjoys playing with school-age kids.
Teddy is in need of more stimulation in his life. His former owner believes that a family with more people at home during the day would be ideal for him - with perhaps another playful dog &/or older children in the household.
Teddy likes companionship. He does not have separation anxiety, but he would benefit from more people in his life.
He loves to be around people, and especially to sit in their laps. He loves playing with the neighbors’ children.
Four walks a day (one longer, and three shorter) has been part of his routine.
He likes to sleep on the furniture, and on people beds.
When he’s on-leash, Teddy Bear barks at other dogs (often with his tail wagging) especially with unfamiliar big dogs.
Teddy also barks indoors when he sees other dogs walking by, or hears them barking. He’d do best in a home without adjoining walls, and with a back yard where he can have some outdoor playtime.
He’s good with dogs when he can “meet” them, and with dogs that he already knows. He is very non-alpha.
Teddy is neutered, fully vaccinated, and on Simparica for flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
Please take a moment to view his photos and videos to get a better idea of his behavior & personality.
Teddy Bear is in the Ventura County area.
