Tommy

Adopted JANUARY 2023!

Tommy’s Story:

This friendly cocker spaniel and his little terrier friend, Sammy, are a bonded pair from South Korea. Their original owner had passed away from a stroke inside her home and, after days of not seeing her around, the neighbors had called in for a welfare check. Sadly, she was found inside with her pets, who were then sent to an animal shelter. Our rescue partners known as the Cocker Moms were able to get the dogs and Tommy and Sammy were flown to Los Angeles, CA soon after via our Freedom Flight program. Both estimated to be around seven years of age, Tommy and Sammy were inseparable after their arrival in November 2022. These boys were already so attached we couldn’t bear to split them up, so we set out to find them a loving forever home together.

Tommy is such a friendly and well behaved boy! He loves attention and is excited to meet everyone he comes into contact with. He’s enthusiastic about getting pets, going for walks (which are helping with his figure), and playing with his toys! He and Sammy are enjoying settling into their new home, where they spend a lot of time lounging on their parents bed and playing in the yard with their new dog sister, 6-year-old cocker mix Hana. Their parents have had cocker spaniels since 2002 so they know the nuances of the breed, and have also been very patient with super shy Sammy who has slowly been warming up to them. Their dogs are an important part of their family.

We are grateful for the opportunity to help dogs like Tommy and Sammy, who become homeless through no fault of their own. We truly believe that Compassion Has No Borders!
