Tonki

Adopted MAY 2022!

Tonki’s Story:

Rescued in May 2022, Tonki joined Camp Cocker Rescue as one of our Freedom Flyers from South Korea after he was found in a shelter in Soonchun City. He was approximately 2-5 years old. This handsome cocker spaniel was very sweet, active, and playful. He’s a total sweetheart with people and other dogs alike! Tonki has a minor abnormality with his front legs that may require ongoing physical therapy and eventually a custom brace.

Now named Cashew, this darling boy is settling in wonderfully with his new family. He is a hilarious, energetic, happy guy. His parents were happy to drive all the way from Oregon to pick him up and welcome him into their lives. Cashew walked right into their living room for the first time, hopped on the back of the sofa, laid down and made himself right at home. His new sister, Lemon, warmed right up to him, too! Fun fact: Lemon (formerly known as Bree) was also adopted from Camp Cocker Rescue! Cashew’s parents are looking forward to watching physical therapy help him live his best possible life.

From Cashew’s adopters: “We are so happy to have them both in our lives!”
