TURTLE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!!
Turtle was rescued on 8/30/21 from the Riverside shelter. He is presumed to be a spaniel mix, estimated to be 1-2 years old, and weighs 22 pounds. He’s a sweet boy, and quite the charmer!
Turtle was hit by a car, with a badly fractured femur.
He was taken to the VCA WLA for emergency surgery on Monday, 8/30.
Turtle is currently recovering nicely in his new foster home, after receiving a Certificate of Bravery upon release from the hospital.
DONATIONS ARE URGENTLY NEEDED!!
Check back for updated information, and more photos & videos as Turtle begins his healing process.
Turtle will need ongoing physical therapy for several weeks (physical therapy will be sponsored by Camp Cocker) so we’ll be looking for adopters in the Los Angeles area who will be able to continue his therapy regimen.
TURTLE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!!
We rely 100% on all of our support in the form of small donations. We run on $5 donations and volunteers! Please consider donating just $5 so we can get on top of our mounting medical bills and rescue more dogs in need!
