Walter’s Story:

Sweet older gentleman Walter had been rescued from a shelter in South Korea by our rescue partners at Korean K9 Rescue. In March of 2021, Camp Cocker flew him to America as part of our Freedom Flight program. Estimated to be 7-8 years old, this adorable terrier mix with the wonderfully big ears is super affectionate and absolutely loves human attention. Unfortunately, Walter had a mouth full of rotten teeth from lack of care in his prior life. Our vet had to extract ten of Walter’s teeth, in addition to the seventeen teeth that had already been removed by a vet in South Korea! With just four teeth remaining, this precious boy will be eating a soft food diet from now on.

Walter’s new parents share that he has been an absolute delight! They were married a few months after his adoption and Walter stole the show. He was a guest of honor and was walked down the aisle by his grandpa and had a front row seat to watch the ceremony. They were so thrilled to be able to include him in the ceremony because he's such an important part of their lives. Walter brings his family so much joy daily and they can't imagine their lives without his goofy personality and constant snuggles!

From Walter’s adopters: “We could not be more thrilled to have this opportunity, and we keep having to ask ourselves how we got so lucky! We really appreciate how much care Camp Cocker puts into getting their pups into a good home!”
