Wilma

Adopted JANUARY 2024!

Wilma’s Story:

In January 2024, beautiful baby Wilma and her six littermates were rescued from the North Central animal shelter after they were left there in a laundry basket by someone claiming they didn't know who or where the parents were. The shelter immediately reached out to Camp Cocker to ask if we could take them; of course we said yes! The puppies were estimated to be about 10 weeks of age, possibly a cockapoo mix, and are all so sweet and playful! Wilma was the only female in the litter.

This darling little girl is now known as Zoe and her new parents are, naturally, so in love with her! They tell us she has been adjusting well and already sleeps through the night. Good girl Zoe even gets along with her senior cat siblings, Phantom and Oreo. Their family has a lot of nice friends with rescue dogs for Zoe to socialize with once she is fully vaccinated, and a lovely grassy yard for her to run and play in! They also look forward to taking her to the beach and attending obedience classes together. After the heartbreaking loss of their previous cocker spaniel, Zoe’s parents still had so much love to share with a new rescue dog. We’re certain that precious baby Zoe is helping to heal their hearts.

From Zoe’s adopters: “We are so happy to add this little nugget to our family!
